Rizzo has a 2025 team option the Yankees aren't picking up. I've seen enough from Rice to put him at 1B the rest of the year and giving Rizzo the DFA.

Would've rather had Gil in there, but there were 3 starting pitchers named that were the only reps of their respective teams and Gil's recent struggles got him squeezed out. Maybe someone bows out between now and then.
