He better not be the closer in October. If so...Holmes going to lose us games in playoffs.
Wow, 10 blown saves is unreal!!! Boone has to say he is committed to Holmes, because who is the alternative. But, they need to address the closer issue. Can you imagine carrying the lead in to multiple post season games and losing?him.

Yeah, I am sure it would be a mutually beneficial parting. Yankee fans are used to a badass closer. Goose, Wetland and Mariano. Going in to the 9th with a one run lead and I expect to lose.Holmes is a free agent when the season ends.
Don't let the door hit you...
SMHhim.

Yeah, since the answer likely has to come from within the organization, I am stumped.Boone has to say he is committed to Holmes, because who is the alternative. But, they need to address the closer issue.

Yeah, since the answer likely has to come from within the organization, I am stumped.
Here are the Yankees who have pitched at least one inning in relief.

Sadly, Holmes really is the best option. Well done Cashman!EDLS is gone. DFA'd on Aug 14, and signed with CWS.
Beeter and Lasagna are both out for the year.
Help us Clark Schmidt, you're our only hope.
kicking myself for not live betting Detroit bottom of the 9th.Yeah, I am sure it would be a mutually beneficial parting. Yankee fans are used to a badass closer. Goose, Wetland and Mariano. Going in to the 9th with a one run lead and I expect to lose.
Yeah it’s just NutsFor me, the biggest problem facing MLB is that every commercial break on the audio app begins with Tiki Barber talking about his balls.
How much potential revenue is MLB throwing away by playing the same five ads all game?
Also, I enjoy low brow humor, but ads for male hygiene products are not funny at all.
Yeah it’s just Nuts
