When is the last time a guy stunk it up in a contract year like he has? I was thinking we'd see a Glyber from his 1st, 2nd year.

I believe that was John Flaherty. I don’t love him, but I’m okay with announcers not behaving like clowns.

He's like a breath of fresh air and pairs well with Jeff Nelson. For a guy who wasn't trained to do play by play, he's fine.

He was pretty good those years, and also pretty good in 2022 and 2023. I would guess his performance will return close to those levels after a slow first 25% of the 2024 season.
