2025-26 Basketball Schedule

Hopefully we can get back to the Garden. St Johns fans think they own the Garden now that they were good for one year.

If Cuse can rebound this program a little I think they'll be sadly disappointed to see the Red shirts drowning in a sea of orange again on their home court.

Season cancelled? lol. We got news, that we will have another slot to fill on the schedule!

Interesting. Cooley and Red both publicly said not long ago they were committed to continuing the series.

Red and Hurley are interested in playing each other so I wouldn't be surprised to see Uconn fill that spot. Or St Johns at MSG.

This virtually guarantees a first round NCAA Tournament matchup if both schools make it. I could see the selection committee shoehorning one or both teams up or down a line in order to make it happen.

If both teams make it, they’ll both likely be in the 9-11 seed range, so a first round matchup is unlikely. ( Unless it’s in a play-in game).

Bummer. Cooley was very unhappy with all the Orange in the stands.

Hubert and Dixon get something of a homecoming game.

Hypothetically, if we deserved a 9 and Georgetown an 11, it definitely could wind up being a 7-10 game. Or something similar… Not egregious, but definitely hoping to spark a little more interest for a first round game.

I am not normally a conspiracy theorist, but the NCAA selection committee is an exception to that rule.

Home slate looks handilable, but the road is difficult with Duke, L’ville, NC St and UNC.

The fact that the cancellation of this series has generated very little discussion here speaks volumes. It's an artifact of history. The rivalry has been practically nonexistent for a decade, and had been largely heatless long before that.

I'm with Axe. Give me a rotation of St. John's, Nova, UConn... hell give me Providence and Seton Hall too. G'town is just another old opponent at this point, sadly.

We’ve been replaced. It felt like it was time once ACC network was the only one picking the game up last season.
the irrelevancy of the game from a national perspective has been sad to see. Best to shelf it until the programs are good again.

Losing the @Georgetown game hurts, for the lack of long term rivalry, and the fact that it was the one game I could easily get to and root against the home team voraciously and embarrassingly. Sad, but I'm 60, and stuck in the past.

I understand the Georgetown rivalry is not close to what it used to be and is so low of national interest that it's not even televised on the CW but I thought this series would continue to at least keep Syracuse as a continuous presence in the DC area for recruiting.

I guess I'm getting old but I'll miss our annual game and playing a team I can still hate.
