On TV he indicated that he grew up a mile from campus. And Mendoza grew up a mile from the stadium where the NC will be played.
There is plenty of reasons, but for me the main one is Indiana got here the right way, undefeated, and won their conference. They deserve the story book ending. Miami is lucky enough things broke their way after two losses to even have the opportunity to be here.Torn on this one. Hate Miami. But would be a plus for the Acc. Sway me
I don't see how this is a plus for the ACC.Torn on this one. Hate Miami. But would be a plus for the Acc. Sway me
Before the Mensah Shenanigans I was pulling for Indiana, now I am full on rooting for Indiana. Is this really a question? Why would anyone root for the Big Ten over the ACC? Go Miami! ( As much as I might otherwise detest them.)
FairI am pulling for Miami. No, not because it will benefit the ACC. Not because IU bought a great team, Miami did the same. No, I do not like Miami.
I am pulling for a Miami because it will give the B1G a black eye. An overrated conference, that overspent-fueling the wild-west madness, knowing they are $200M in debt, knowing that as a state school, they have protections from foolish spending and operations, basically, you cannot force the sovereign to do what it does not want to do. At least as a private school, Miami must balance their books or close.
Basically, for me this is a choice between two schools I have almost zero interest in and the only thing I can find to differentiate the two is one suck minutely less than the other. Yet, I will watch... Unless it gets out of hand. Once drying paint becomes more exciting, I will move on.
Too bad espn couldn’t bring back coach Corso for some of this pre game chatter
I suspect they willI hope the U gets boatraced.
