FCS playoffs are distracting themWhy isn’t anyone poaching our coaches!?!?
Penn State is probably down to Terry Smith or a position coach/coordinator from the NFL who has Ped State ties.Meanwhile… Penn State. Probably thought they could get Fran as Plan … and this finish all but eliminated that for at least one year. Maybe they keep Terry Smith, especially if Chesney decides to waste 3.5 years at UCLA on a horrible fit.
Golesh to Auburn is the one that stuck out to me as being underwhelming. Can't imagine he will fire up the fanbase.Wow. I don't hate any of these hires as an objective third party. But if you're part of an insane SEC fanbase, are you really happy with these hires? Crazy year.
I think he’s a good coach though. He can do well there.Golesh to Auburn is the one that stuck out to me as being underwhelming. Can't imagine he will fire up the fanbase.
I don’t know why UCLA isn’t going after Sean Lewis. People do not realize what a miracle it was that he got Kent State to two bowls and now he turned SDSU around quickly, and he did it with a great defense and ball control offense, like old school Rocky Long. He showed he isn’t just some high flying offense guy who’s teams won’t play defenseMeanwhile… Penn State. I saw a post that UCLA did interview Lewis.I don’t know why UCLA isn’t going after Sean Lewis. Probably not. JMU is positioned to move up in the rankings. So the AAC CG will be coachless? Does that help Duke’s chances should they win the ACC?
Being in the Tampa area and seeing Golesh for a couple years and what he's done at USF, I think this will be seen as a great hire a few years down the road. Real players' coach.Golesh to Auburn is the one that stuck out to me as being underwhelming. Can't imagine he will fire up the fanbase.
