Sure it is all speculation. As far as Fran having Dino’s guys, all of those Dino’s guys would likely have left if it weren’t for Fran being hired. A winning season next year is reasonable and hopefully happens

Yeah the guy coming from Holy Cross who was not yet a household name before his time at JMU would definitely have really fired those guys up to stick around when they all could have cashed in elsewhere. I didn’t say Fran was the ONLY coach, but at the time there was no buzz on Chesney. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t an excellent coach then, he was

I dont think lane cares, hes making 100M and a single win over Alabama will make him the most popular person in Lousiana. He didnt rehab his image to be a good person, he rehabbed it to get this job

It would have been interesting to watch Alford justify $72MM in buyouts for the current staff and $100MM for a new contract with Kiffin when they have no money for anything and can't get by on what they bring in.

I am beginning to think that ADs and their staffs should have to meet minimum requirements annually in math, money management, and fiduciary responsibilities.
