This is the kind of SF they are lacking.

This highlight reel!I thought he was fantastic during their first-round NCAAT game. Huge fan.

Surprised with Daly on staff they aren’t connected
We are all set with wings. Need a center, a PF and two PGs.Punch will be a bit too expensive for us I think. He's going to get a boatload of money from someone. Kids a beast one of the better players in the portal
I would add that Gmac also seems to want to priortize guys that will buy into the culture he’s building—toughness, an incredible work ethic and desire to improve their games, high motor players, a team-first mentality, guys that want to pass (see Michigan), and other non-negotiable values. That’s how Ben McCollum, Dusty May, Tommy Lloyd, Hurley and a bunch of other coaches have succeeded—along with innovative offensive systems and commitment to defense and rebounding. Red may have been forced to compromise on some of those qualities in players because we didn’t have NIL his first two years, and he prioritized continuity his first season. He also just might have failed at communicating with the players and getting them to buy in. That’s a hard thing to do. Who knows. But I think Gmac wants to develop players and expects them to have some weaknesses that they need to improve. We’ll see how it plays out. That line of reasoning is why we haven’t been good for a while. We have been taking too many flawed players
Behind the paywall, so don’t know for sure, but based on the online chatter I’m seeing, Providence and the Shark may have landed Miles Byrd from San Diego State.
I’d like a SF with some size but that’s all reasonable. We are all set with wings. Need a center, a PF and two PGs.
Now we might add a wing to help fill out the roster. But if we do, it will be a low end (I.e. cheap) player.
My opinion only.

I think we are beginning to see that, on top of the money, it is hard to sell players on playing for a program that has not been relevant since 2021.The more and more I see I am losing confidence that we will be getting any of our elite targets

Not panicking at all. Syracuse will get a solid PG. They have to. But it might not be as big a name as many fans want because, at the moment, there are about 50+ programs with more momentum than Syracuse in the last few years. And which targets at PG mentioned are we not in play for ? Way too much panic and a lot of that is all the parody accounts making it seem like other programs are landing kids and emptying out the top targets.

Hey I hope I’m wrong! And maybe a little reverse jinx action too hahaAnd which targets at PG mentioned are we not in play for ? Way too much panic and a lot of that is all the parody accounts making it seem like other programs are landing kids and emptying out the top targets.
But when our funds are just above the P5 NCAA average, it does.Momentum is overrated when you have NIL funds to compete.
