well, be fair,, there are plenty here who would say they are terribleAnd if we signed any of them, the board would say they’re great.

and as I just said, there are plenty here that knock everything we do. Even some that will say that we chose Wilson over Folefac for the back up 4 even when they play totally different positions. and Wilson will be the starting centerMaybe for you, there’s some posters here that will talk up every add no matter what.
Flip side of the portal is if you're spending big bucks you better be a top 4-5 seed.![]()
Alvaro Folgueiras joining Louisville basketball, Pat Kelsey via portal
Pat Kelsey has scored a Louisville basketball transfer portal commitment from former Iowa forward Alvaro Folgueiras. What to know.sports.yahoo.com
The kind of player we need. The kind of person we don’t?Dior averaged 25 a game playing 24 mins. Shot over 50% from 2and3.
Our skinny bo athletic PG from Chittenango ate Rippy’s lunch when the met. Probably an accident. Accidents happen. Sometimes good things come in small package.

Yep. Big money doesn’t necessarily equal wise spending.Flip side of the portal is if you're spending big bucks you better be a top 4-5 seed.
Looking at you Mark Pope and Pat Kelsey.
Very talented player, but can't imagine Gerry is going to want to deal with him while trying to set a foundation in year 1.Dior averaged 25 a game playing 24 mins. Shot over 50% from 2and3.
That’s generally what guys with small packages say.

I believe 007 made that statement but not sure of his insight.Did someone on the board say Folefac will be official sometime tomorrow or was I reading about another player?
Thank youI believe 007 made that statement but not sure of his insight.
There are, but that doesn’t make the opposite any less true. 2 sides of the same coin.and as I just said, there are plenty here that knock everything we do. Even some that will say that we chose Wilson over Folefac for the back up 4 even when they play totally different positions. and Wilson will be the starting center
Only one person is saying that, Dash.and as I just said, there are plenty here that knock everything we do. Even some that will say that we chose Wilson over Folefac for the back up 4 even when they play totally different positions. and Wilson will be the starting center
I also think one big difference is while there are people who talk up all the players that get added, I rarely see people going over the top saying those players are sure-fire NBA talents or leading us to a championship or GMac is the best recruiter ever. It's more excitement or cautious optimism.and as I just said, there are plenty here that knock everything we do. To be fair, you’re right, if we believe what they’re saying now. But I’ve seen enough cases of guys we wanted getting bad mouthed only after they went elsewhere to be skeptical.well, be fair,, there are plenty here who would say they are terrible
I like reading the different takes; but sometimes it is difficult to know if I already read this post or it is posted again in a different thread or later in the same thread. ( For those old enough, is it live or is it memorex)I also think one big difference is while there are people who talk up all the players that get added, I rarely see people going over the top saying those players are sure-fire NBA talents or leading us to a championship or GMac is the best recruiter ever. But there are more than a few people who seem very certain that players won't pan out, or the roster just isn't good enough, or because a player chooses another school Syracuse "obviously doesn't have the money promised," I could go on. It gets tiring after a while.
Sure, it can go both ways, but the vast majority of positive comments are cautious optimism. The vast majority of negative comments come across as statements of fact and just trashing (for lack of a better word) everyone and everything.
I'm all for sharing criticism, and I'm not saying these posters mean for it to come across that way. Some are better than others. BUT, certain negative posters have to understand that this is the way many of their posts are coming across, and frankly, that's where the annoyance from many others comes from.
If you have criticism, absolutely share it, but please be more conscious of how it comes across. And the same can be true for how we respond to it.

To help, I started a new game. I hide the posters name. Then I read the post. Then I try to guess who posted it. Some posters are easier than others.
That clown 007 made that statement in response to the OP who claimed that it was "stupid" to go after Folefac now that we have Wilson since they "play the same position." 007 does not know if we will or will not sign Folefac. But he does know that adding Wilson has very little to do with whether we will be adding Folefac.I believe 007 made that statement but not sure of his insight.
But, but I thought Oregon was broke -
