P4 vs Independent, and I would hope we have more NIL to give. But I am sure some kids will follow Candle. We should get 3-4 guys from Toledo is my best guess. And give me that U Conn running back

Toledo did have a TOP THREE defense.
You do not do that with a lack of talent.

Yep they won 8 games in spite of their offense and because of their defense. Anyone think we hold Louisville to 333 yards of offense if we had played them this year?

If it’s about money they’re not going to UConn. NIL there mostly goes to the basketball program. I’d expect that stud OL to go somewhere else entirely if he’s focused on money. He’s not following any of our guys on social media. Would love a few of the D guys to follow Vince. He can sell them on decent NiL and a chance to play in the league in the same system. Hard to make same case on offense.

In today's world, it would not be difficult to identify all players by position and rank them in (rough) order by their ability, just as they were ranked out of high school but with more insight into their actual capabilities. A kid should know where they fit into the big picture of college athletics and what realistic opportunities are out there, especially if they have a legitimate agent who knows what he is being paid to do.

Unfortunately, the chaos of the portal often makes for bad decisions for both the player and the school. It feels like a feeding frenzy with a lot of hit and miss decisions all around.

It’s on 2 4 7. They have a list of portal kids ranked. Always found the portal rankings to be more accurate since tape, etc at this level is available.

I've seen Stokes anywhere from top 10 portal to top 25.

Of the UB guys, McMillan is the one who I think plays the slot and is a fit. Snow is too small.
