Hopefully we can upgrade the overall talent on this roster. I believe this new coaching staff will elevate the players and actually develop them, unlike last season.

There has been a significant shift in the staff to X's and O's guys with a history of success. I think there will be a corresponding impact on D and the OL in year 1. How much remains to be seen.

To me, there also has to be a jump in talent evaluation. Hopefully, it will play out that way between the 2026 HS class and what we are about to add via the portal. We will need players to make the 2 deep from both those pools. We absolutely cannot afford high end $$$ misses in the portal.

I'm hoping that the OL coach will have a big impact.

Kind of like how Tony White came in a few years ago, and all of the sudden our tackling exponentially improved seemingly overnight.

Like the guys we're going after thus far. Not anything flashy yet but a bunch of these guys should be able to contribute. Would like to see some OL/LB/S looks next ideally. Definitely need a couple high end guys if we're to really turn this thing around for 2026 but depth is key as we saw very clearly this past year.

The transfer portal officially opened on Friday, January 2nd and almost immediately there was a flurry of activity. Including several players linked to Syracuse. Some previously known but many new names. With all of the information, it can be a bit overwhelming to keep everything straight.
