What 5 players? Did Duenkel play?Per our board, we lost to Michigan 11-8, after being down 9-2 at the half, and beat Marist 19-10. A poster said we had 5 players sitting out as injured.

(If one buys the 2nd manual from Chico), this corresponds to Duenkel, B.Millon, Hopper, Browne and Verville. So it appears that Duenkel did play

The Inside Lacrosse article mentions Duenkel scoring a goal.Per our board, we apparently beat Georgetown in a scrimmage this weekend 16-15. They played an extra quarter because Air Force had to back out due to the government shutdown.
While UVa's offense sounds like it will be pretty good. This statement about the goalies sounds a little iffyThe Inside Lacrosse article mentions Duenkel scoring a goal.
While Marek began in goal for the Cavaliers, four others took his place throughout the game, as an official starter is yet to be named at the position. Head coach Lars Tiffany said he is fortunate to have five legitimate candidates on his roster, and that the battle moving forward “will be a spirited competition. And it’s going to continue through Thanksgiving.”
duenkel went 2 and 2, and had multiple points previous weekend, most against fairfield. biggest thing is he's full speed, somehow. heard 4-5 hip surgeries. he put on 15-20 in the weight room, and for him hopefully that helps keep that and maybe other injuries away for awhile. While UVa's offense sounds like it will be pretty good. Some other random fall ball scores that caught my eye from throughout the fall (not just from this weekend):
UNC 20-11 over OSU
UNC 10-8 over Richmond
Maryland 19-5 over Navy
Maryland 16-13 over Cornell
Harvard 8-5 over Maryland after 3 qrts
Delaware tied Hopkins at 8
Lehigh defeated Hopkins but no score was reported on the Hopkins board.
Army 13-10 over Hopkins
Rutgers over Yale 13-10
Obviously doesn't mean much and we will forget all these scores when the season starts, but it's interesting nonetheless. I think sometimes who wins the first half is the most important thing with scrimmages, as that's when starters play, but every team is different.
Other random thoughts based on message boards:
The funny bit is Maryland fans insisting that Harvard played their scrimmage like it was "the Super Bowl" which seemed to imply that the result really didn't matter. Sounds like the starting attack against Harvard was Spanos, Erksa and Johnson. Lyons was nursing an injury but still played a bit. Should be interesting to see who gets bumped to midfield.
Sounds like the UNC freshmen midfielders look good and that Bair, Merrill and Rao were all on the same line for the fall.
Hopkins had Cook starting at goalie instead of their stud freshman or last years starter Gelinas, who finished the season strong. Their face-offs were decent all fall. Results wise, they had a rough fall.
The arrogance of the MD fanlax crew remains stunning, but their depth on offense is a concern for opponents next year. Along with the Yale guys, Spencer Ford is no longer a redshirt, middie Jack Shultz looked promising as a freshman last year, Whittier is a quality middie and still has a year left, and freshman Higgins should be able to play right away. Best offense on paper for them since 2022.Some other random fall ball scores that caught my eye from throughout the fall (not just from this weekend):
