The ground rule dead play double was a huge break for LA - without that it's 3-2 with one out. Surprise the Jays did not have a pinch runner option here.

It was really bad baserunning, from a kid who has made great clutch plays for us all series.

What was the point of him straying that far off the bag when he was not going to score anyway even if it landed. There is a strategy to how far you stray out, and Barger didn't execute it well.

To us watching on TV it looked like a great catch because we thought it would fall, but in reality the ball was caught because of spectacular positioning by Kiki - it wasn't a spectacular catch

Barger should take a quick glance to where outfielders are stationed before the play starts. I'm not sure if he did or not -- it seemed like he didn't - and if he did see him, what exactly was he doing then.

Totally irrelevant what Kiki did in that situation. The umps were going to blow it dead ball irregardless of what the Dodgers outfielders did,

The left field ump had already waved it dead immediately, and they looked at video review.

Even if the centerfielder played on pulled it out and threw it in, Barger sends up at second And if he does get to third, the umpires certainly send him back to second.
