2025 NFL Thread

Denver has played like a 3-5 team and yet is 8-2.
The offense yes, the defense complete opposite. The most important thing is learning how to get W's no matter what. "Had no business" I'm not sure what to make of that, except it's just called sports. They're never out of a game.

Now my issues with the O is a whole other story. I can flip that also and say the Colts game in Indy, was decided by an aiding the player call with no time on the clock. Also lost on the last play with no time against the Chargers the following week.

This isn’t true. They have a larger point differential than Philly, Green Bay, Detroit, LAC, Tampa and San Francisco. They’ve also won in Philly.
Not taking anything away from the Broncos as wins are tough to come by in the NFL but part of the knock is the schedule to date. Titans, Cinci, NYG, NYJ, LV, DAL, HOU all wins against teams below (in most cases well below) .500. To their credit they've taken care of business.

I really thought Tampa would be better off the bye. Carolina has been good at home this year but woof

When was the last time you saw a 3-2 score in an NFL game?

Just looking at tankathon and see the Raiders will lose all tiebreakers due to the rest of the AFC WEST being good and those 6 games pumping up that SOS.

I see a lot of parallels between Daboll with the Giants and Scott Frost at Nebraska. Meaning they probably aren't as bad as their record indicates, but they just have a shocking combination of ineptitude and bad luck when it comes to closing out games.

Another parallel is they are both absolutely unlikable.

Insane to rush to the line and then hand it off from shotgun. And have a penalty. My gosh that’s brutal coaching.

I really didn't think going for it was that bad, shrug. Not surprised at all the models said it was close. Lol @ Aikman mumbling something about the clock stopping as if that doesn't happen anyway after a 4th down. Really earning those big bucks.

If they were up between 4 and 8 points, I think going for it would be ok. Going for it up 3 was moronic.
