The Orangeville Northmen lose the first game of the best of 3 Minto Cup Finals to the Coquitlam Adanacs 7-5. Trey Deere had 3 goals, all on the crease. The Northmen were down 6-2 and scored 3 goals in the last few minutes to close within 1. Jake Spallina took all faceoffs. Game 2 is tomorrow night.

The Orangeville Northmen lose Game 2 by a score of 11-10 in a close back-and-forth tightly faught game and the Colquitlam Adanacs win back-to-back Minto Cups becoming the first B.C. team to win it in Ontario since 1977. The Northmen led 9-7 with 10 minutes to go but the Adanacs scored 4 of the last 5 goals. The final shot by the Northmen to tie the game with 1 second left hit off the post. Trey Deere had 2 goals and 3 assists for the Northmen and Ryan Colsey had 5 goals and 2 assists for Colquitlam.
