Ok folks, I did the investigation of the videos so you don't have to. It looks like its 1s vs 1s scrimmage situation. Huge thanks to the pause feature on twitter lol

I have heard Joe Cruz is really highly thought of from several reliable sources. Would be really surprised if he does not start at OG.

That Washington is even getting a few snaps with the first team at OG this early is, I think, fairly significant news. He was knocking on the door even in spring ball.

This doesn’t happen often with true frosh OL.

Appreciate the sleuthing and effort, but it's their first week of practice.

Don't think who's getting reps with who means very much at this point.

Makes me think of this scene from the best football movie of all time, Little Giants.

I do agree with this about the O Line and D Line. Less so for the skill positions, those are pretty clearly the preferred options at this moment. But agreed, emphasis on at this moment. Things could change

Dude just dropped his gold jacket off at the dry cleaners after a weekend with his legend peers on the stage in Canton, now he’s straight to the Cuse to spread knowledge and coach up the coaches.

Man, what a great add to the staff by Fran.

Expecting to see a Slimey Spin Move for 8+ sacks this year.
Pretty cool to see. Such a great job by Fran and the former players embracing each other.

Someone else's left nut for him to be our version of Bryant McKinnie

I dont think I could love this any more. Kind of encapsulates Fran's whole approach to the program. I hear the team consistently saying this off-season that "the standard rises everyday" and this is a damn good example of that in action.
Any edge guys who screw up and get faked out in their rush to the QB will hear about it.
Having Freeney as a coach is like having a cheat code on the sidelines.
He should be able to dissect film on any offensive lineman as to weaknesses.

In that video he was teaching the pull/swim techinque and then it's counter move.
DL/DE Moves I can honestly say was not used once last year.

I just need to fathom this possibility for a second.

A 6-7 400 lb true freshman OG that is athletic enough to beat out all of these other experienced dudes. I mean how many dudes in the country could move him 1 on 1 if he has even reasonable technique?

Yeah that sounds delightful. I’m going to keep day dreaming about that for a moment.

I think you can probably pretty safely get yardage running behind a 400 lb guy that can move.

Jacket? Sunglasses? Or, do you have an actual pilot? I'm getting a strong Tom Cruise vibe here...jus' sayin'
