I get that but any oline guys will tell u they need to have time with the same guys next to them so they get used to how each guy blocks. one guy doesnt stick on a double long enough or too long. its consistancy and u need a few weeks at least for that to happen.

Deleone was well known for cross training his guys. I wonder how he balanced that with buildng chemistry.

My hopes for Deslauriers playing this season increased after seeing him stay close to a wide receiver on that kind of route. Sure he got beaten, but it took a nice offensive play, and linebackers aren't usually supposed to be covering wide receivers 30 yards down field.

I honestly dont remember him talking about it much. i do wonder what the true balance or ideal balance is.

Yeah he definitely seems like he could contribute even this year if needed. I would guess Cook gets most of his action in the slot but if we happened to get an injury out wide and Cook plays outside more, i could see Boobie stepping up big time in the slot. I know we got Russell there as well though and I guess E Ross could play slot as well. I'm guessing Emmanuel Ross ends up being next man up in the rotation after the starters.
