2025 Ryder Cup

So I think we make a run tomorrow. Miracle comeback.
USA needs 10 points tomorrow and are favored in seven matches. I wonder if all the experts still think that the US team is the deeper team. Seems like there were a few factors they didn't take into consideration.

Do the Canadian citizens generally root for USA or Europe?
I went to a Ryder Cup held in Oakland Hills, a suburb of Detroit. This was in the early 2000s.

My friends and I drove through Ontario from CNY to get there, as that was and is the fastest way.

We stopped at a course near London Ontario to play a round and have lunch. Forest City National. It was beautiful and we enjoyed playing it greatly.

After we played, we hurried to the clubhouse so we could watch the Ryder Cup. I think this was day 1 and we had tickets to watch day 2.

Anyway, the Ryder Cup was on tv in the clubhouse. We asked who was winning. This was before smartphones made following golfing on line easy.

The girl we asked smiled and said “we are winning big!”.

We were excited but soon found out the US was getting killed early.

We asked and were told they (Canada) always rooted for Europe. I asked why?

They said we just like them more. A bunch of the staff on duty confirmed this was the case.

Not cool Canada.

Unfortunately, it appears that Keegan Bradley's legacy as a Ryder Cup captain is not going to be very good. But, it's not all his fault. The Europeans are just much better players with these formats. Just look at their lifetime results.

And the thought process of the New York crowds having a huge impact are minimized by the experience of the Europeans and the fact that the Euros have been taking the crowd out of play.
Also some possible rowdy fans were priced out
