Wow. Couldn't be more impressed with the maturity of a kid who was 16 last week. I have a 16 yo now and would be extremely proud to see my kid be as poised and mature as Demetres.

He meant the GT game where he completed 14 of 14 and had 12 carries for 81 yards. When healthy Dan can do a variety of things … jack of all trades, master of none but he plays with more guts than most. Try to at least cut him some slack the dude had more tape holding him together than a 78 Pinto.

So the take away here is that he was effective enough as a QB in a patchwork offense. Totally get why that wins people over! It won me over!

The problem is his primary role isn’t a Swiss Army knife QB and our expectations of him may extend beyond his true skillset.

There’s nothing wrong with either rooting for him or being pragmatic about him as a tight end. In fact, you can do both.
