There’s a lot of youth on the field. It bodes well for 26. Unclear what it means for this fall.

I thought sparrow played very well. I think our D line has a lot more bodies. I think our secondary has more options than I suspected (grant didn’t play). Hard to know about rest of LB since Deslauriers didn’t play and seems like depth is limited there. Heard physically looks stronger but not sure what his role will be. I think we have to add another LB in the portal for depth if nothing else.

I’m mostly concerned about O line and QB. Natural since Rickie didn’t play. Ups and downs with the HS kids out there. It’s a big drop off from Kyle with what was out there.

The DL getting banged up (especially on the interior) didn't do the LBs any favors.

A stout run defense from the DL will help elevate the LBs.

As an undersized MLB I can say this is so true, moreso than anyone that hasn't played MLB could ever imagine.

During the NYS championship game our 2 starting interior defensive lineman went out injured and my job went from just normally tough to getting my ass handed to me. Our #2s were no slouches but what a plot twist.

We lost on a late FG that was kicked by a tough young lady.
I actually just found that game on youtube that was filmed by the father of a player from the opposing team. What a riot...1993 Carrier Dome Chittenango vs Yorktown...the dome looks so ancient.
The best part of video was at about 3min when yorktown was getting on the bus and the tall doofus carrying the ole boom box on his shoulder couldnt figure out how to get on the bus...and a bunch of shittenango sucks yells. A blast from the past, hilarious.

Yea that game didnt play out how I remembered...we were down 0-10 @ half, then 0-17 but made it 13-17 late & lost 13-24. Easily could have taken 20-17 late late lead but...thats not what happened.
I did have 2 forced fumbles & a 58yd kickoff return and I realize I sound like Al Bundy and noone cares...but it was a blast to watch that 32 years later.
edit: jeez, we lost 13-23.
