So.. any visibility into what’s available?
So.. any visibility into what’s available?
Then mandate that those are only for non tailgaters and the remaining surface lots are only for tailgaters.
How many cash lots are left? Only one I can think of is the Eye Center on the corner of University and E Adams.Aren't there still a bunch of pay lots north of the Dome? University/Adams, Grace Church, etc? I've been to tailgates in some of these the past few years, they were pretty lively. They also didn't fill up too early, even for big games.
Not saying it solves everyone's problems, but I thought there was more parking around the Dome than just the permit lots.
Tailgating in a liquor store parking lot... diabolical. You got Wegmans right there for ice too!How much would an UBER be from the Wegman’s/Liquor City area to the Dome?
Kinda like let’s keep and build the baseball stadium still in the middle of nowhere so fewer people go vs would have been otherwise true with a new downtown location.Correct. We just happened to build a stadium in the center of campus and when we had the opportunity, or thought about another option, we stayed with the stadium in the middle of an urban campus.
Or at least some ratio of tailgaters to non, e.g., 2:1. Excepting the bigger groups, for the most part we take up twice as much space as the 'regular guests' and then tear down when they're arriving, so it's not like we need everything left.
And the university can't tell us that tailgaiters don't add value. That's me cracking the egg in the intro. I should ask them for NIL money.
Come with us downtown! I’ll make it worth your while, lots of victorious post game man hugs! LolCan’t complain about the current product on the field. It’s the parking and tailgating that will drive me to drop season tickets. Not worth a 5 hour drive if you can’t tailgate in the lot where you park.
Not lots...but are there two parking garages that do cash on gamedayHow many cash lots are left? Only one I can think of is the Eye Center on the corner of University and E Adams.
Hopefully I can give you an update soon.So.. any visibility into what’s available?
It's funny, we actually create about 6 extra parking spots everytime we breakdown our tailgate...we let the attendant know and he brings in the late nontailgating arrivials. It works well and the tardy love us.
The VA is now a coveted location. Pretty sad.I was just told the VA is still available. Not my first choice but will take it if its there in a couple.days
Post in thread 'Dome Renovation'Kinda like let’s keep and build the baseball stadium still in the middle of nowhere so fewer people go vs would have been otherwise true with a new downtown location.
No let’s rebuild it in the middle of a packed jammed congested area that nobody can get to, versus an open expensive area by a future and current waterfront marina/aquarium and nationally famous entertainment mall complex. Dopes all of em
It appears the only place left in Stadium West. I can't speak for other lots/garages on the Hill like Harrison. I think it only showed me the $240 parking opportunities. The VA is now a coveted location. Pretty sad.
Olympus is back now?Harrison and the garages is about it (VA, University) oh and Mt Olympus.
click on electronic obviously - hanging is just VA I think.
Can’t really tailgate in a parking garage. Even on the top floor your options are limitedNot lots...but are there two parking garages that do cash on gameday
Right. It’s just a parking spot for $240.Can’t really tailgate in a parking garage. Even on the top floor your options are limited
It’s only nice to park there when it’s cold, wet and windy.Right. It’s just a parking spot for $240.
I’ll be tailgating in another lot. It’s only nice to park there when it’s cold, wet and windy.
