I loved this thread last year. However, if someone decides to post pictures, please tag them. I'm not able to identify most of the kids without a uniform and a number.

Absolutely want to see what the S&C staff is doing. Apart from the freak injuries to the DL leading into the season, the team suffered bumps and bruises, but guys came back, and we got better throughout the season as a team - no late season collapse - and won the biggest game of the year right at the end. Whatever they are doing and teaching, it is working.

I have a feeling the amount of season ending injuries that we didn’t suffer last year was not a fluke and has a lot to do with our improved S&C programming. This year will probably tell us more but from my conversations, and the less calls i received, it’s night and day.

I’m hearing MAT drills could be starting this week. MAT drills are those agility drills, running and fitness drills that were often held outside in the early morning hours last year. Has anyone heard anything similar?

Doubtful, I imagine the field is either heated?(doubtful) or they’re using a kick room machine of sorts. I agree that if kick broom or most notably a plow is removing snow - it will have some negative impact over time.

Exactly! Which makes me feel gullible and naive.
First off, Dino did a great job selling his vision. He is a likable guy from afar. But, remember his sales pitch on how advanced the S&C program would be bc The Orange Is The New Fast. We would train our players in such a way that is so specialized that we would just wear the other team down.
It was a sales pitch that was believable but had absolutely no evidence to back it up & coach knew he was full of hot air.
1 thing I learned from Dino...when you dont have a good answer to a question during an interview, change the subject and quote movies...it works.
Its telling the S&C guy is unemployed now based on a websearch.
