Coming home from third on a sac fly, he tried to avoid the tag and it looks like his left leg might’ve snapped while he was diving to home plate.
 
Thankfully I was listening to a radio stream of the game when the injury occurred and didn't see it. Cabrera has been one of my favorite players over the last few years. Always seemed to be smiling and hustling.

Yup. Even in this game before the injury he made a sliding catch right in front of the dugout (hustling) and came up smiling.
 
You can see the one trainer immediately sees the break and throws a towel over it and then whispers the injury to another trainer.
Looked like a lower Tib-Fib fracture. Hopefully no ligament damage.
