I wasn't a Gleyber hater I always thought he got a bit of a bad wrap even though his bat would certainly go cold for extended stretches. In retrospect they really should have brought him back, he would be a huge upgrade over what we have now.

Still even though Anthony and Mayer are major prospects there's zero guarantee those guys plus the other dude Christian whatever are going to work out to the extent Devers has. For a team that's been pretty much a mess four of the last 5 years wouldn't you at least play this season out to see what happens?

In hindsight you’re right. But He’s having a better year this year than any of his 7 Yankee seasons. I don’t know that our front office could’ve predicted that.

Jazz and DJ are both having better years than Gleyber last year for us
