Jazz has way too much of the Gleyber Torres no plan just hack away at the plate in him.

He's a good player when on but he's down to .225 and that's a bump as he was down to almost .200 recently. Wish we could see a little more consistency and smart at bats. His at bat yesterday with the dude on 2nd and no one out was horrific.

I think your expectations for some of these guys are a bit off. Both Chisholm and Volpe are having good seasons by their own standards.

Ya your probably right, just feels like these guys should at least be a bit better in these strategic situations like Jazz was in last night. The volpe grounder to end it happens but would hae been nice to see him at least look at a pitch or 2.

A low changeup that might have been a strike but no need to swing at that for pitch one of the AB.

The major problem is you have about 5/6 guys all slumping at once and Judge inevitability was gonna cool off. Beyond working through it there really isn't much the FO can do. There's essentially nothing at Triple A prospect wise they can turn to and it's early for a significant trade.

I do think as I've mentioned an infield bat should be the #1 priority. Gonna have to wait until yhe off-season for any major changes beyond that.

Still, 0 run support for your starter in 6 straight games is horrific. You hope it's a bad stretc vs the first couple months being a mirage
