I guess it becomes a force out at second. He would have had to beat the throw to the short stop or beat Xavier to second, both of which were unlikely.

I am beguiled how Cashman has kept his job. Success for the Yankees is measured in WS championships. Period. One in 25 years (and none in last 16) doesn't cut it for me.

I'm not a fan of Boone really, but it's hard to win when the roster is as bad as it is.

For about 10-20 years, the Bills stunk. They kept with their regime and acted like they were the smartest people in the room. It took a regime change for them to start winning.
