It annoys me when after a home run Suzyn sees the location of the pitch (usually somewhere in the middle of the plate), and declares “that should have been hit.” I think it shows a lack of respect for the difficulty of the game. I know she gets it, but it is bad form in my opinion.

10 game sample size so I’m NOT drawing conclusions! And he’s def. an upgrade over 2024 Rizzo, but Goldy’s DEF rating is 2nd worst for AL 1B. Again, couch cushion level sample size but interesting for me to watch.

I have no idea what will happen, but that’s an odd take based on what has transpired so far. They’ve played ten games and failed to score four runs only twice.

Pops, this is an impossible take unless I’m missing what you’re saying. We are literally the best lineup in all of baseball through ten games. Our WRC+ is by far number one.

Starting pitching is currently meh but “lineup” is literally the best in the sport through 10 games. Are you saying you just don’t see it sustaining based on your opinion?

I’ve seen him make several nice plays on bad throws.
