2026-27 Schedule

I would bet that we are not going to play in the Vegas tournament. No way we schedule the way we are if we are playing in Vegas. Plus. I don't think we liked playing a 2-0 team when we were 0-2.
Just been confirmed we will NOT play in for 26-27 season.

Well, Providence and Indiana are certainly a step down from Houston, Iowa State, etc that we might have seen in the tournament. I guess we’re trying to make GMac’s road a little easier.

I think there will be at least one more. Plus the ACC SEC challenge.

They would both be quality wins.

Yeah, but I doubt the other game will be a top 25 type team, like we would have gotten in the tournament. So while we are at least playing P5 opponents, my point stands. We’re (probably smartly) playing teams we have a better chance against. And we would have the SEC game regardless.

Why not just play a road game in Indiana's facility? The building is going to be 95% Indiana fans. It's a road game. Yet if we somehow win, it is totally watered down in the eyes of the metrics.

This is the kind of thing we need to pay attention to as we try to work out way back into low end tournament contention.
That's Herm Frazier level scheduling incompetence.

Get back in the destination MTE rotation with a year at Barclays/MSG mixed in. Play a separate neutral at one in NYC the years that you are in Atlantis/Maui/etc. Those were awesome vacations when we sucked, I can't imagine how fun they would be if we are good.

Money. It’s about money. That is the game today.
