Re Va, even one game in the ACCT could enhance their RPI. And they beat ND. It's not like the B1G has many teams knocking down the door to get in. Could come down to Va or JHU.Harvard with Princeton/Cornell left, The season could go any direction
PSU at 6-5. Lose to Rutgers do they go to 6-6 and play in B10 to fall under .500
Virginia in a spot where the could end 8-7. Is that good enough?
If it does come down to that, they'd probably go with JHU because of HTH and "just because."Re Va, even one game in the ACCT could enhance their RPI. And they beat ND. It's not like the B1G has many teams knocking down the door to get in. Could come down to Va or JHU.
I was thinking HTH but it could come down to the other factors: RPI, SOS, Wins vs top 5, 10, 20, 21+. I don't think it would necessarily be just HTH. JHU does have what is now a "bad loss" v RPI #21 Rutgers. If it does come down to that, they'd probably go with JHU because of HTH and "just because".
Saw a bracket today Cuse Richmond 4/5 and Notre dame 1. I would take that.this is not a thing...there is no conspiracy against cuse, in fact cuse deputy AD mullin is on the committee this year...
cuse got a favorable draw just two years ago with towson in the first round and then denver in the quarters... yes they lost but everyone wanted that denver game at the time, no one thought they were very good. that was about as good a draw to the final four as you can hope for...
if they actually win that game, yes. losing does not help rpi. drops in almost all cases typically, unless your numbers start out poor and there's a big delta. though it could be a marginal/immaterial drop depending on the opponent.Re Va, even one game in the ACCT could enhance their RPI.
