not sure about that. umd/psu loser could be in deep $#!+. no bid steals and duke is lining up against one of them.
Compare this PSU great wins/terribile loses resume with Duke's who hasn't played anyone meaningful outside the ACC and only beat ONE.You got to think that if PSU loses to MD their season is done. I know that's not technically true but those losses! I feel like a lot of folks are talking up their wins (which is totally fine) but ignoring the fact that they have some terrible losses.
I know it doesn't quite work this way but wins against Princeton, Cornell, and Yale are balanced out with losses to Villanova, Navy, and Michigan.
They then would have a split with MD.
Evens out to a very uninspiring profile.
That's my prediction as wellWhere do we think Cuse lands?
Feels like the 4-5 slot with a small chance of going down to 6th?
That's my prediction as well
Didn't realize the holistic metrics are solid. 4-5 seems like a lock with a potential to move up with a win or two in Charlotte.Hard to se SU outside of that 4/5 spot unless they won the acc tourney or something unexpected happens. The #1 sos, high RPI and 7 top 20 wins make it hard to see someone passing them
Still #4 Seed. Playing Army. Then Richmond.
Gonna have to earn a repeat final four appearance, that's a tough draw for sure.
Kind of a pick-your-poison situation. #5? If you win, you get ND. #6? Win and get UNC.To me it seems like fifth should be the worst they do. I guess if Cornell wins the Ivy League they could leap frog the Orange? That’s my main concern. They beat Hopkins H2H so even if the Jays win the Big 10, I don’t think they would go above Syracuse. Others on this board know better than me.
If they beat UNC maybe they get the 3 seed? Win the ACC I’m not sure. If they beat ND maybe the 2? I think they are in a good spot.
