Another rough week line wise, to my eyes at least. Hoping not to many of these go sideways.

Albany -5.5 - I will probably regret this but it's a home game for the Danes coming off a pretty rough stretch of good teams and Hobart while scrappy could only muster 7 goals against ROMO. Back door cover by Hobart late is a major concern here

Umass - 3.5 - Mass is 6-1 with there only loss being to Army. They just beat up on Albany whose better then Vermont and the game is at Umass.

Duke -9 - This game is at Air Force but it's hard to see how Duke doesn't win by at least 12+ goals. AF struggles to score and Duke's defense is outstanding. In two "peer" type matchups Duke beat Bellarmine by 15 and Vermont by 16. Cue these guys winning by 9 now of course.

OSU +2.5 - Zack has talked me into this one. ND only beat OSU by 1 last year and 3 two years ago. This game is at OSU and I'm getting the hook, though 3.5 would have been outstanding.

Death, Taxes, SU playing undisciplined under Gait and Army dropping a bad loss to a mediocre conf opp and then wondering why they keep missing the tournament.

This happens literally every year.

If they dont beat UNC its gonna be AQ or bust. The Rutgers win isn't gonna hold up and Yale is middling again.

Edit - They did add Michigan to this year's schedule but that win isn't gonna mean much either with how they look. They need to beat UNC and make the Patriot champions game at minimum.

I've been beating the stop scheduling Army drum for the better part of a decade. It's a lose/lose for Syracuse. They play like a title contender everytime they matchup with SU and then lose multiple games in the Patriot and haven't even gotten to the patriot league finals the last 2 years despite getting a 1st round bye.

A grueling academic schedule, demanding extra-curriculars, an arduous lacrosse season with practice and travel- I think the Army kids usually just get worn down during the course of the winter and spring unless it is a very special team. Scheduling them early when they are fresh and eager might always contain an element of risk for SU.
