There's never been any concern with Russell flipping so that's just a matter of when his comes in.

Unfortunately it looks like the rumblings on Russell the last few weeks have been accurate. Not signing and looks like Miami is heavily involved. I'd put his chances of ending up here at less then 50%.

The silver lining is it a position that is already in good shape without him. Use the money in the portal for guys in the trenches if he bails.

This was about a tone shift in recruiting, its fun to get a couple great players but it's a game changer to get an elite recruit and then have him grow in the system and go onto the NFL. In a world where vanderbilt of all places can sign a top 5 player, it should be possible here too.

We did. DT Alexander Haskell flipped from there after Franklin was let go.

Right but my point is we have a litany of other positions with far greater need.
