I don’t think that is too far off. Skill positions are fine minus backup QBs. D line HAS to be totally overhauled, OL needs more than just a center

We have key pieces saying they’re coming back, however, until the portal closes there are no guarantees.
If the players do stay next big issue is to replace a number of coaches. At this point I would say the entire D staff. The scheme is bad. Tackling has been bad for two years. Wr were running wide open. Coverage was bad. New players may help but without better coaching it won’t matter.
On O we need a new Oline coach and rb coach. I know Nixon is the rb coach but I see all these other teams affectively running the ball but not us. I know a lot has to do with the Oline but it’s more than just poor blocking. I remember early on Adazzio (sp) mentioned how Willis was running to upright allowing him to be stopped. He sees this while watching a game and our coaches cannot make the corrections all season.
Adding qb depth is a must.
Fran will go and get the players the real question is will he be able to make the necessary coaching changes including his friend.

Agree with all this, the defense was a disaster, even taking into account how hideous the offense was, because it was bad last year when we had an excellent offense. Clean house on that side and 100% get a new OL coach. A new RB coach would be good and I think we need a bit of portal help at the position

I'd add Samuels too but I agree, other than that, nobody is irreplaceable. Even our Hulk at LB. He's good, tough, and can't cover. We need new blood everywhere.

Last year he decommitted, flipped to Florida and flipped back to Syracuse.

If we transition back to a tradition 4-3 type defense I want our hulk LB in the middle I think he would be excellent there, where coverage isn't as important and can focus on being a tackle machine.

Really? That’s what you come back with. So, Angeli is a stud because he racked up 382 yards vs, UConn, who beat Duke, who is in the ACC title game? That’s really stretching it, no? You have any comment on UConn’s losses to FCS program Delaware, and a bad 4-8 Rice team? Learn the game.
