Class of 2026 Top 10 Rankings
10. Anna Von Kennel, M, Darien (Conn.), CT Grizzlies
A great athlete who will be a positive add to any school, Von Kennel has both straightaway speed and a strong change of direction. She can weave through the defense to cage untouched for quality shots on cage.

9. Julie Shaughnessy, A, Syosset (N.Y.), LI Top Guns
A smooth dodger, the lefty attacker from Long Island creates space with ease. That space is where she takes advantage and can pull off some pretty sweet finishes that turned heads all summer.

8. Ava Findora, M, Downingtown West (Pa.), NXT
Findora is dangerous. Her speed and hustle are next level. She wins draws more often than not, then explodes like a rocket with the ball downfield. Her tenacity makes her tough to contain, and often her goals come with a physical toll.

7. Kit Laake, D, McDonogh (Md.), Hero’s
Laake is a high-IQ defender who works well in a multitude of scenarios and schemes. Her 1v1 defense is top notch, as she almost never gives up an easy opportunity to her opponent thanks to her quick feet. Off ball, she shines when attacking groundballs and creating turnovers with well-timed slides and reads on passes.

6. Maria Bragg, M, Severna Park (Md.), M&D
An elite athlete, Bragg has the potential to develop into a dominant collegiate midfielder. She makes plays on both ends of the field, including hard-nosed 1v1 defense and quick dodges on offense to get her hands free with ease.

5. Reagan O'Donovan, G, McDonogh (Md.), M&D
The top goalie in the class, O’Donovan has played with poise and confidence since her freshman year. She’s ready to gobble up a shot from any distance or angle, and her quick hands make life difficult for shooters. What separates her from the rest is her quick feet and ability to track the ball off shots from both a dodger and quick cuts across the eight meter.

4. Sophia Buffardi, M, Sayville (N.Y.), Yellow Jackets
At 5-10, Buffardi has a strong presence on the field that is equal parts grit and grace. She combines her power and strength that help her dominate on both ends of the field, including the draw. Her footwork allows her to tap into the more finesse side of her game, where she can draw defenses attention, creating and finding opportunities for her teammates to cash in on.

3. Cece Powell, A, Marcellus (N.Y.), Aces
Powell makes ‘wow’ plays a habit thanks to her unreal stickwork. The 50-50 balls seem like a magnet to her stick, with a crafty approach to the ball and ability to quickly escape a the traffic that often surrounds the a groundball. Offensively, her unique style of play makes her difficult to guard, as she’s constantly moving and changing direction while working her way toward the cage.

2. Kenzie Rassas, M, Georgetown Visitation (Va.), M&D
High IQ is one of Rassas’ biggest attributes and something that is on display on both ends of the field. Defensively, she seems comfortable in any system, able to protect the middle while keeping an eye on both her player and the ball, while also being ready to send a slide when needed. Offensively, she’s shown a powerful shot with time and space, with great stickwork in either hand. Someone who can push the ball in transition to create offense, she makes good decisions on where the ball should move to continue the fast break.

1. Cayden Reese, A, Maryvale (Md.), Hero’s
A true quarterback, Reese has high-level vision and offense tends to run through her stick. She has a strong understanding of drawing defense on a dodge while maintaining the ability to handle on-ball pressure to find the open player. What makes her particularly lethal is that while she’s a great feeder, she has a strong understanding of creating and finishing on her own opportunities.

Getting players from M&D Black is a good thing. The M&D and Hero's 26's are stacked. Hopefully the staff can pick a few more up from these clubs.
Possibly.. one of her friends just posted “besties off to Cuse”..
Maddie Ripley .. you never know

No doubt! Their staff was reportedly caught off guard in the past couple of years when a lot of the talented in state players committed very early to other programs. Lexi Reber and Natalie Shurtleff (Clemson) are a couple of the examples.
