2026 Recruiting

Annoying when you have not just the rumors but an Odierna tweet and 100% know something is coming! Drop that hammer Ty!

Did we ever confirm which kids visited this weekend? If I missed the full list earlier, my apologies.

Anyone have any insight into why this announcement is taking so long? A little worried that the player in question got cold feet, at this point.

There can be a delay in players officially announcing. Several schools had comitts from this weekend just get announced today.

No. 18 Timmy Plunket (A/M, Iona Prep) to UNC.

No. 28 Dylan Casillo (M, Belmont Hill) to UVA.

Is it crazy that I’m already envisioning a 2027 2nd midfield line of Lefty Soph Bogue Hahn, Righty Frosh Nick Rayfield, & Senior Wyatt Hottle in the middle just giving teams fits & drawing slides at will with their speed & elite first steps?

It is, isn’t it? I blame the football bye week.

No relation Evan and Hill Plunkett, but a player I think was under ranked a little bit. He can absolutely hammer the ball.

Ah makes sense then, for some reason I thought that was his brother.

Don't sleep on senior Tucker Kellogg, as well as sophs Ted Rawson (lefty) and Braydon Pike!

Syracuse will definitely need to reload their midfield with the '26 class. They are losing three big impact players and most likely starters in Thomson, Leo and Rhoa that year. Rayfield (and Rodriguez who can play mid) is a great start, but I think they need to add a few more high level midfielders this class. Having the ability to entice recruits with playing time should help, as I am sure it did with the '20 class (all Thomson, Leo and Rhoa all saw a lot of action as freshmen).

Feel like Brian Fantana

Interesting choice for Sweeney to say the least. Notre Dame brings in the only five star FOGO from the '25 class in Aidan Diaz-Matos (and 19th ranked player).

UVA and Duke both don't have FOGOs this year, as of yet, so it could be one of them. UVA brings in the 31st ranked player in Griff Meyer from the '25 class. Maybe FOGO isn't their priority? Duke, like SU didn't bring in a FOGO for the '25 class, so I imagine they are motivated to pick someone up.

Ya this is interesting to say the least. I could see him being worked to flip after teams start bringing up the depth chart.
