When I hear high end academics, I think the Harvard of CNY. Blasphemy to say otherwisenever say never but it's going to be hard to pry any of these lawrenceville kids away from the ivies or big ten (hop and umich). those kids value high-end academics...

Does this kid have major D-1 ability? Looked stiff in the highlight video but it's dumb saying that about a 6'4" freshman (illustrative of how stupid early recruiting is). He was mentioned on a Inside Lacrosse podcast. Legacy. I am sure many of you know more about the player and his father than me
Rawson would be a great add. Canadian with jets. Hope it happensI mean he's Canadian sooo... lol
Irondequoit kids never go to Cuse. Don’t know why.I noticed that there were a few 2026 (sophomores) on the first team All-section V team:
Tano Auriuso, A, Aquinus 89g-39a
Braden Fingar, M, Penn Yan 37g-17a
Cooper Moore A, Irondequoit 59g-18a
A couple of upstate kids on this list released by NLF -
34. Bryce Privateer, midfield, Choate (Conn.) / 3d Upstate - from outside Buffalo
36. Jayden Rodriguez, attack, Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) / 3d Upstate - from outside Buffalo
42. Justin DiGiovanni, midfield, Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) / 3d Upstate - from outside Rochester
Not from New York, but one of the only Canadian players featured -
48. Finn Morgan, attack/midfield, Lawrenceville (N.J.) / Oakville
One reason would probably be that Irondequoit doesn't produce that many players at the level to play at Syracuse.Irondequoit kids never go to Cuse. Don’t know why.
In my mind I always associate Irondequoit with College Park! One reason would probably be that Irondequoit doesn't produce that many players at the level to play at Syracuse.
Peck will certainly be climbing up the rankings lists, I'm sure.
Andrew Whipple and Joe Walters would’ve been ok. There have been others. One reason would probably be that Irondequoit doesn't produce that many players at the level to play at Syracuse.

I’m aware of all those kids. And there are plenty more going all the way back to Jeff Long who could play at that level. There were others who were good enough to play at Cuse but couldn’t afford the tuition. It’s just odd. You’d think one would’ve made his way there. We all grew/grow up as Cuse fans.Whipple, finishing up in 1998, and Walters, finishing up in 2006, were a ways back.
Of course, the Terps recently got a nice contribution from Jack Brennan, and have Jonah Carrier arriving this fall
Also Greg Coholan was named HM AA and scored 53 points in 2015 at UVa. Nick Doktor had 57 points for Penn in 2015.
So UMd does not totally dominate Irondequoit recruits.
Further, we can see that Gait has put his big foot in Section V with Cam Ryan and Drew Angelo this year, and Braydon Pike next year.
