Agreed mostly. When you are in the ACC you have several high quality opponents built in to the schedule, with the ACC tourney adding at least one more if you can get in. MD and Richmond are top 10 OOC and their 4 ACC opponents are projected to be top 10 or close to it. Hop Towson and Dartmouth should be borderline top 20. Colgate may be a little down this year and Utah High Point and Drexel have been strugging lately. That may be one too many easy opponents and I don't get playing Drexel that late into the season. But you have several top 10 opponents built into the schedule.disagree on weak sauce, seems just what the doctor ordered for this year. they can't take a tosu/rich/hop hit again this year. that doesn't even include the terps ooc.
7 games ooc look like they should win unless they're just not good enough. dartmouth and towson of that group very likely top 20.
then 7 games of acc with umd/hop/rich. even if they only pulled 2 or 3 of those games, that's 9-5 or 10-4, pre-hopeful acc tournament. and they're plugged back into the ivy.
absolutely a schedule that works for them in 2026.
The goal is the same, beat enough quality teams and you will be fine. Plenty of opportunities there still. If they go 0-4 in the ACC again the biggest gauntlet in the word couldn't save them.
