The Syracuse Mets won't change their name until 2028, one year later than expected.

You would think that someone trademarked some unrelated product syracuse abc. They couldnt work with them to make it work I guess?

Sounds like a botched job but whatever they choose is gonna be bad, so I don’t care.

Off the top of my head, the Syracuse Mets should be good. Not great.

Jonah Tong and Christian Scott will surely start the year in the starting rotation.

Waddell will probably also be a starter. Wenninger was solid in Bingo and will start some games for Syracuse at some point in 2026. Same with Santucci. I think Pintaro is still around and will probably also start.

Lambert has great potential as a hard throwing relief pitcher. Lavender might start or pitch in relief.

Clifford might hit more HRs than anyone in AAA. He has legit power. Hernandez and Arroyo are excellent AAA vets.

AJ Ewing might end up at CF if Benge sticks with the Mets. I think Senger and Parada will share catching honors. Vets like Tauchman will fill out the lineup.

I would hope the team contents seriously for the playoffs.

I love Jason and the sincere effort he puts into the gig night after poorly attended night, but come on man. This process was just....not well done.
