My 11 year old daughter was going through all kinds of emotions over Vonn’s wreck, since she really wanted Vonn to win. Trying to navigate her through that, at one point I said it’s better to try and fail than to never try…but I could tell my daughter wasn’t sure about that. If trying means a broken leg, was trying worth it? I was 100% sure Vonn would post something like this saying she had no regrets, so I was waiting for it to show my daughter. And she feels better now that Vonn said she has no regrets.

While this didn’t end the way she wanted, Vonn still showed she’s a champion in life.
