Absolutely. I should have clarified that I was hoping we would land a 5 star attack or midfield and it looks like we won’t be.

when there are 9 5-star attack and 7 of them are going to UNC or ND for god knows what reason(Not bad schools, but just getting yourslef involved in a Logjam 2 years before you even step foot on campus) , its going to be hard to land them.

And unfortunately it’s been fast for everyone else besides us it seems, I’m sure there’s a few other schools where it’s been slow but man this is depressing lol

I think their rankings are based primarily on evaluations made during summer club season and I did not see any indication Kruger plays for any club. The three stars they gave were probably just based on the Hill Academy/Orangeville pedigree.

While the three sets of rankings are nice reference points, I trust our coaches as evaluators and trust any kid committing this early in the process is someone who was high on their prospect board.

Did Matthews play club ball this summer? I can’t see that he did. He does have a lot of highlight videos though, whereas Kruger does not. Perhaps that’s it more than he didn’t play club ball? He’s playing for Hill Academy so he’ll get exposure. Have to imagine he’ll climb the ranks in the next two years.

Rochester hasn't been kind to Cuse in any sport outside of a few kids. Over the years I've seen it blamed on a number of things like coaches not making it a focus, desire for kids to get out NY, etc

drives me insane but there are more michigan/notre dame/ohio state fans than cuse fans in rochester.
