22 college head coaches whose stock is on the rise

That list tells me one thing, don't hire coaches whose last name starts with the letters M-R.

I am more concerned with Pitt than this nonsense or any coaches leaving.

How is that the great Sean Lewis is 3-6 at Kent St? Must be a typo or maybe he's playing 8 man and the other teams are playing 11 to try and even things out

Well they get to go 1-3 OOC every year. So all in all he is 2-3 rn besides that not good but about where they will always be

I was at the Toledo/ Kent. St. game a couple weeks ago. Kent was up 21-0 8 minutes into the first quarter. Halftime score was 31-28 Kent. They lost 52-31. I think that style of hurry up offense has kind of been figured out by everyone. Their D was tired by the end of the 1st quarter, also.

Maybe. I think it's more about talent and execution, regardless of what system you run. Tennessee has run an up tempo offense since Heupel arrived and he's finally done what it's taken 5 coaching regimes to do for them.

I should have majored in making sports lists for the internet to consume. Would have been a billionaire.

Following up on this, my twist would have been to do "top 50s" and include at least one person that isn't real at all. See how far I can take it.

"Coming in at #37, Thomas "Toots" Smithers, HC Frick and Smith College. He has an interesting story coming from coaching D7 football in the Northwest Territory. He invented what is now commonly referred to as a tunnel screen, which he invented due to his odd affinity of natural tunnels. He has a wife, two kids, one dog and one pet moose named Sheboygan".

Thanks for humoring my follow up, here. Go Cuse!

They could both head to ASU.
If ASU wants to hire a coach with a 53-54 record and he chooses to leave SU after Wildhack and the school stuck with him through some tough seasons, I say thank you Dino for your service, keep the buyout money, and hire Tony White as HC within 30 seconds. Having said that, I don't see it happening.

Same. Plus I’ve not seen Babers linked to ASU. Would be an odd move.

a mere two months ago, Dino was right up there at the top of the coaches hot seat list with Frost and others, amazing what a couple of good months can do.
And a couple of good assistants!

If Dino leaves i hope he takes Homer with him

if dino leaves my guess is the entire operation is gone too. He tends to travel w his guys

I put it at 8% likely

I hope Dino stays but not concerned if he leaves. JW will find a great coach . We have 2 candidates on staff.
Dino has 2 winning seasons and has been afforded more resources than any coach to ever wear orange. If he leaves we will be fine.
