the hard part of the D is most of not really knowing what part needs to be fixed.. there were so many plays on D that we seemed to have guts in good spots and the play blew up for us. Some of it was bad angles and tackling and some of it is just small guys betting blocked by bigger guys.

Not every pass is going to be perfect. Last year W.Mi Custis caught a pass even further behind him then that. If you can only catch perfect balls then you aren’t a reciever

I noticed he was removed from the kickoff return rotation. He’ll be back this week I assume as Jordan sits out this redshirt preservation game. What a difference that kid is.

was benson and im a TD defender/lover but that was a really bad pass. He wasnt scoring with the ball that far behind him and even the catch was iffy.

It was Benson not Hackett. (I made the same mistake in a post)

But the ball was thrown behind him. It would have been a very difficult catch to make.

I know this might come to you as a surprise but even Tom Brady has made some throws that are off the mark...

Benson had a chance to catch it but it should have been a better pass. Thrilled with Benson and him and Hackett are two fantastic TE's which are both going to be in the lineup next year which is one big plus for this offense.

As for the 2 DB's, they were hustling towards the ball which is what we would all want them to do. It was an unfortunate break.
