I've seen some mocks with Marquette and K State seeded above Wisconsin, and I really don't understand why. IMO, both have 5 seed resumes.

If you go by who we beat and our computer rankings, we are clearly in the top 12 teams. We have a .500 record in 14 games against the Top 50, IIRC. Very few teams played that tough a schedule, no matter what you say about our OOC games.
