30 years today - Where were you?

I was in a Baton Rouge hotel room hung over from being at Mardi Gras for 14 hours the previous day watching that game. After the game my buddy and I went back to NO and partied some more and that's when I predicted Syracuse will be in NO to win it all, everybody laughed at my buddy and I but we had the last laugh.

Ahh, another mistaken memory in this thread. The "Gerry Mac drops one on G-town" game was in 2004, the year after the NC.

On Jan 21, 1984 - Saturday night. I was Assistant Food and Beverage Director at the Hyatt Islandia. I made reservations at La Petite Café in San Diego and proposed to the gorgeous blonde who used to work for me. 8 years later she'd drained me of everything except my Syracuse addiction. Looks ain't everything, fellas.

At home in front of the tv in Broomall, PA and, as a jr in HS, cementing my choice of college

My own son came home from the hospital dressed head to toe in Syracuse gear. The brainwashing started pretty much literally straight out of the womb in this house.
Why did you wait so long?
It can start in the womb.

I was in the student section behind the basket. Pearl's shot against BC was coming right at me.
We went nuts!
Student section, 13th row. My buddy yelled, "Everybody gets laid tonight!" Unforgettable moment.

Senior in high school waiting for my acceptance letter from Syracuse.

30 years today I was -10 years old.

Behind the basket in section 103 (according to the seating chart I just looked at) with my Dad. Remember it like it was yesterday!

I lived in MD at the time. I was watching it at my best friends house. A guy I drank with, hung out with and coached a little league team with. As excited as I was about watching the shot go in and going nuts, the best part was watching him throw his beer and fall to the floor. He was a BC grad and a huge BC bball fan. Good times.

lost my voice at this game
was at that game - so frustrated that a game against a Craig Eshrick coached team was so close, but GMac's magic at the buzzer made it a great game/memory

It was close because he missed like 75 shots right? At least that's my recollection.
