Don’t have the time to get into all the detail requested, but here’s my anticipated breakdown of the season:
Louisville - close high scoring W
Uconn - closer than any of us would like with a bit of a let down from the previous week looking ahead to the next week, W
Purdue - going in 2-0 this team begins to assert itself while continuing the preseason run of for the first time in memory very few injuries - nice W
UVA - 3-0 for like the first time in forever, Friday night game in the lunacy of the newly charged Dome environment, overtime victory, W
Wagner - finally a breeze of a game, we get to see all the reserves, Big convincing W
NCst - we have a week off before this game, they have a rough tussle with Florida State the week before, we’re still enjoying the healthiest team we’ve had in years, both teams undefeated, game day here, night time environment, big dreams are starting with another W.
Clemson - finally a let down game against the wrong team to do it against, injuries from the hard-fought win against North Carolina State, we’re never in this game. L
ND - it’s Notre Dame for God sake, some owie injured players return, The Dome is once again electric, their new coaching staff is having issues, we pull out a close victory W
Pitt - They continue to have our number especially there - L
FSU - back home in the friendly confines of the dome, Florida State is hurting physically and mentally from the battle with their arch rival Miami the week before, And they are not quite back yet to being Florida State - W
Wake Forest - Sam Hartman has unfortunately not returned because of his medical issues, wake has had their two in-state rival in the two weeks previously, garret Shrader wants to prove the world wrong in his home state and beautiful things happen, W
BC - The bowl game is ready at Hand, it’s a meaningless game in many respects and we play like it - L.
Final record 9-3, Which in reality will be 8-4, still a very good season and step, a very big step, in the right direction.
