The Big East has struggled in this tournament, except for Xavier who has inexplicably turned their season around in the last 10 days.

Will it continue in this one?

How can we not root for them? Helped us out by knocking off Sparty & then subsequently coming back down to reality vs us last year. Fun to watch. Reggie Upshaw may be the next CBB player to make the jump to the NFL ala Antonio Gates & Jimmy Graham. Great story when his military brother surprised him on Senior Night.

Then there's Giddy Potts. Best name in college hoops, looks 40 years old & has the "old man game" to go with it. Dude is a dead ringer for Lysol in Chappelle's "Mad Real World" sketch. What more can you ask for? GO BLUE RAIDERS!!!

The tournament is missing some of these good lesser known teams. Too many mediocre P5 teams this year as at larges-- not to say they did not deserve to get in, because there was just a lack of mid majors this year that deserved to get in, or that were that good. All we got in was St. Mary's, VCU, Wichita St. Dayton -- teams that we are all familiar with and some are annoyed with for some reason.

Butler seems to have control of this one., but not putting them away either. Within 8. Giddy Potts 0-7.

Still hanging around down 5 to Butler with 4 minutes to go.

Could use a good ending.

3 point game, 3 to go.

I think some of these Butler guys were part of the 2010 team that beat us.

Butler is a good example of a team that doesn't get top 60 recruits but every year they have a good winning team and they can win a couple games in the tourney. They get guys who can shoot, pass, play tough D and know how to rebound. We could use some of those type kids.
