Practice starts at 4:35. All practices are now closed to the media. There will be interviews with players and coordinators following todays' practice. These are the last preseason interviews. The team will start preparing for URI tomorrow.

Zaire Franklin said Ted Taylor and Jonathan Thomas split Sam reps at practice with Parris Bennett out yesterday.

Also, turns out Syracuse did not start Rhode Island prep today. Offense decided to work on more situational stuff. Lots of red zone today.

Syracuse OC Tim Lester said he showed 60-70% of his system in the two open scrimmages. Isn't ruling anything out of RI gameplan.

After reading all the reports this week of key players getting hurt all over the country, I almost hope the last week of practice is just a bunch of pillow fights.

Yep, but if we can't stop Fournette, it won't matter too much.

That said, we've done a good job shutting down good running attacks over the last few years. I really think the LSU game is going to be closer than most people think. Low scoring, and close.
