8 games to find 3 wins

1 game to find 1 win. That's where our focus needs to be. We CAN win every game left on our schedule but we COULD also lose them all.
Thank you! You guys are setting the bar way low.

If a Pitt game is moved to night, they'll also have to move the day.

Death, Taxes, SU-Pitt Saturday game being Noon (Big East) or Noon:30 (ACC).

I can't believe the NCAA let them just play some guy named Troy. And further, I can't believe that Troy scored 21 on them. Maybe we should recruit him.
I heard Lamar was better ;)

Lamar put 31 up on Baylor, not bad.

Really starting to like playing BC at the end... Always a fight... Just don't want to have to have it this year. I want that win as icing on the cake!!!

Ironically, the only time we have beat them since 2001 was the one time it wasn't a Saturday Noon game... Friday night in 2012.

We also beat them in a close game in 2004. We stopped them late in the game on a 4th and 1, and Coach Mac went nuts on the radio broadcast.

Kind of a major hot take here but man the USF game will tell us a lot.

We win - we're a solid team that can pick up some wins and should make a bowl

We lose - same old, same old.
I'm not sure about same old same old, but, I'm just confident to watch the team play. Roll the ball out and see what happens, I'll save judgement for when it's all over, whenever that may be.

Teams receiving votes in the AP Poll that I'm almost certain SU is better than: Tennessee (4), Minnesota (5), Navy (9), NCSU (10!), Temple (17!!!), Toledo (68). How Temple gets 17 votes is beyond me, beating a 2-2 Cincy team and a mediocre at best PSU team. Tennessee shouldn't be near the top 25, their only two wins come from Western Carolina and Bowling Green, though losing close in their other two. Toledo beat two P5 teams, but Arkansas is awful and Iowa State has been a laughing stock for years. Minnesota hasn't scored more than 27 points all year, even against Ohio, Kent State and CSU. Navy has played Colgate, ECU and UConn; at least ECU is a good win. It's a shame that the name of the team you beat means more than the quality of the team you beat -- that's especially true if you're a "smaller" school, because the voters will shower you with votes for beating a very poor big-name school.

Whoops my bad you're absolutely right.

Tennessee is full of talent and is two shocking collapses against Oklahoma and Florida from being a national title contender. I don't think we are on their level, but you could definitely make an argument for the rest.

how will they do it kids??

can they make this painless and do it in the next 3??

it would be nice if they did because that schedule 3 headed monster will a rough go and id prefer to not be in a 2 games searching for 1W or worse scenario.

bc looked decent v fla st, but what is ncstates deal?? how are they 4-0??

I think Lester's offense will carry the day and do it sooner than later. It's bizarre to think we're so optimistic after starting 3 different qb's in 4 games. We lost our senior starting qb a few minutes into the season, started a freshman in his place who shows incredible promise, started a walk-on in HIS place, lose our #1 rb & #1 wr, and still have looked potent even against LSU. That's the sign of a good system and as long as we have playmakers, Lester's system will provide good results. I think. We may give up points to passing teams, but we're going to keep scoring points, too. Should be fun...
