A calm JB?

Before the season I said JB would have a real chance to shine(or not) this season, as it would be a lot more about his moves than in recent history, and I'm still looking forward to seeing how he adjusts, just like the young men who play for him. The calmness still surprises me even though I can play along with the logic spoken behind it about him being resigned to lose this game and be happy about it....

What Frank Martin is, is a basketball coach. Today certainly proved that.

D*mned straight! Hopefully he will finally get credit on here for something other than being pissed off. Even I put new twists in my schtick from time to time, folks.

Even if we improve, I would not want to face him again in the NCAA tournament. No more revenge tour on my mind.

No 14 point loss is a good loss for Syracuse.

I hear you and was kind of agreeing, but was also mocking a lot of what I read on here in the last 24 hours to get the angst out of my system, and I'm trying to do it in a way where I'm not calling anyone out individually. Maybe I need to purhase some hard drugs and a hooker to get this feeling out of me? We all deal with tragedy differently.

Speaking of which, poor Dasher had a death in the family today, and is watching the game on DVR right now to help him feel better...

I believe JB had a pretty good idea of what the team might show today. There's not a lot of sense going off on just one person when everyone took their turn throwing sand in the gears.

Yeah, maybe the fan base should take their cues from the HOF coach. South Carolina will be the second best team in the SEC and they will beat Kentucky at least once. You guys won't feel as bad about this loss in March.

Not saying you're wrong, but -- like clockwork -- people say this about every middling big-conference opponent we play in November or December.

This particular one has a good coach and a weak conference. So we'll see.

The difference is those comments tend to come after we beat said teams.

nah, I remember very similar sentiment after Cal embarrassed us at MSG a few years ago - and they ended up not even .500 in the pac12 I think

According to Mark Adams, Martin never yells except for when he's yelling.

That commentary was amazing! He's never gotten mad and yelled at me in an interview - but yells everywhere else. Therefore, super calm guy outside of basketball. Big leap there....

Dammit, I've been railing on bigotry all day...he's a Cuban, and not Mark, so you cant say that dammit!!
Captain Ron to Martin Short:: "No boss, she's not a Cretan, she's Puerto Rican"

Probably because unlike so many on the board, he knows we are gonna slip up, and need time.

We are still in the 6 spot when it comes to odds to win it all. Vegas, and JB know. Many need to calm down. Even if we lose tomorrow.
