I will miss scoop.. I will not miss jojo. Kris joseph disappeared when it mattered most. Sad, but true.

Unfortunately I think kris let his emotions get the best of him. I had a GREAT time watching this team play their way through SO much and they fought their hearts out tonight. I will miss both scoop and KJ. They are both very classy kids.

Can't wait for next season. We lose a lot...Scoop, Dion, Fab, KJ...but we have a lot of talent. Everybody is disappointed in KJ but he was basically a complimentary player not a go to 1st option guy. He gave all he had. MCW has a high ceiling it will be interesting when he gets the keys.

We won't have a better record because it is so tough to go through a full season with just 3 losses, but we will go to the F4 next year. Bank on it.

That's a little ridiculous. No team in America can 'bank on' a F4 next year. In our own team, we're losing 2 of our 3 best guards, a 7-foot defensive player of the year (didn't help in the tourney, but sure as hell helped with our seed), and our leading scorer. There are a whole lot of players that need to make a jump. That means CJ and Brandon's consistency, Dirty's toughness, Rak's comfort with high-level play, MCW will have to make a big sophomore leap, etc... That doesn't even take into account potential match-ups in the tournament (will anyone want to see Ohio as their 7-10 seed next year? Not me!).

I'm not saying that it can't happen. I'm expecting a top-15 team next year. A Final Four though has so many variables (including expecting a commit from the No. 1 recruit int he nation when UK is involved). I expect another great year for 'Cuse fans, but's let's not get ridiculous.

Great year, great memories, just some bad luck in the tournament.

Not sure. He's gone through so much BS this year and enough might be enough. He could end his legacy as only having been a Big East coach - which I could totally see that from him - he's a BE guy who doesn't want to leave. On the flip side, he's such a competitor it would hard to hang it up with the opportunity to go against the ACC.

He'll take some time off ... coach in the Olympics ... and be ready for October.

Next years team will be good but its a little early to start looking at any final four expectations until we see how the pieces fit. Triche has been a starter for 3 yrs and still doesn't seem comfortable, C J has a long way to go before he can be counted on to be a star, right now he is a nice player and the same with Southerland. I think eventually MCW will be a star but who knows when, Christmas and Baye can handle the middle. Cooney is suppose to be a shooter but can he do the other things? With Grant and Coleman no one knows ? This team had a great season considering all that went on and next years team we'll have to wait and see.

If we secure a committment from NN knowing Hop is taking over I could maybe see it. JB got us through this year and all the off court BS and would be handing Hop one of the most talented teams of all time.

One Final Four since 2003 clearly proves that theory. The tourney is a show and we could go 35-1 in the reg season and lose in the 2nd round; the thread is pointless

Which is why they should scrap the current format & go to a best of 3 playoff series with the top seeds.

You set up a tournament where the 4 number 1 seeds don't have to play until four other teams have won in the tourney, then those four teams get to play a best of three series with the top four seeds.

Those winners then play best of 3 series until we crown a champion.

im with bees.. in 2010 we had all we needed except depth.. if we get noel next year we have the rest. i will miss scoop but kjo had a lot of dnic in him. triche showed a lot tonight.. he can hit big shots.. tough shots and get big rebounds. mcw triche and cooney is a great backcourt. rak, dc2 , keita, noel, cj, james & grant is a disgusting front court with inside& outside scoring. great year!
